Year 5 Celts 2014-2015

Year 5 pupils visited Navan Fort to enhance their knowledge and understanding of their study of the 'Celts' and to develop a wide range of historical skills. The visit included a guided tour of the round house where they were introduced to and re-enacted many of the features of the Celtic period. Pupils also had an opportunity to examine a range of historical aretefacts from the iron age and to listen and respond to a range of Celtic myths and legends. The visit concluded with a Celtic art & craft session.
