Grandparent’s Day falls during Catholic Schools week. The theme of Catholic schools week is ‘sharing the good news.’ Each child was invited to draw a picture or write a short story or poem about their grandparent(s). One child from each class shared this with the school community at General Assembly.
St. Conor’s guest of honour was Mrs Mairead Connolly, past teacher of St. Conor’s. Mrs Connolly is grandmother to James (P6BC) and Ella (P4NK). She also composed the St. Conor’s school anthem.
