This year, we have implemented the Renaissance Place Accelerated Reader Programme for the first time and since its introduction, there has been a positive difference to the pupils’ reading habits in Years 4, 5 and 6. Over the past few months, the library has been bustling with many pupils busy reading and quizzing. Many pupils are over half way or have reached their personal reading targets, receiving prizes and certificates. We will be holding an award ceremony before the end of term to recognise pupils’ individual and class achievements for their reading
MILLIONAIRE WORD CLUB
Congratulations to Charlie Mc Cann on becoming our school’s first ever Word Millionaire winner, which means that he has read a million words since the start of October. Well done Charlie on this great feat. We are proud of you!
