On Thursday 11th June 2015, Year 1 children went to An Creagán for their annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Upon arrival at An Creagán, they were greeted by their guide, Peter and taken to the Wild Woods.
Peter guided the children to the camp fire area and explained they would have opportunities to:
- explore the woods
- roast marshmallows at the camp fire
- have a tea party in the forest
- hill climb
- use mud to paint the fort
- dig
All the children were actively involved in their learning as they explored the Wild Woods with their teddy bears!! Look at the photographs below of our Year 1 Explores!!
